Wandjina Bark Painting (The Rain God)

A 1990's bark painting by Lily Karadada (Karedada).







A most appealing and rare piece of artwork from this famous Senior Artist, executed c. 1990.
This bark is rather special because Lily kept this in her own home in Kalumburu for many, many years.
Lily replaced the sticks top and bottom which had not endured the Kimberley heat and Wet Seasons as well as the bark which Lily prepares so well. An acquisition for the true connoisseur.
