Michiel Teijgeler is a professional didgeridoo player from The Netherlands.

Michiel Teijgeler (a.k.a. MT-Yidaki) started playing didgeridoo in 1993. Since then he developed a unique, personal sound. Michiel is known for his strong and grooving style of playing. His musical journey takes him all around the globe. With his band 3ple-D he tours regularly around Europe. In 2003 he traveled for the first time to Australia and spent two weeks in an aboriginal community in Arnhemland. In 2009 he went back for 4 weeks and traveled to different outstations and made some really strong connections for the future. Currently he plays with RAMM and 3ple-D, the WOW Factor and is involved in the studio project Wood. Over the years he recorded material for more than 8 CD’s. Over the past few years, Michiel has been giving workshops all over Europe. Michiel is known for his relaxed way of teaching and always gets everybody going with his humor and clear teaching methods. In his workshops, he makes a combination of technique, rhythm and composition. So at the end you will have an idea of how to construct your own didgeridoo songs and blend freshly thought techniques in to your own style of playing.
