An incredibly beautiful instrument, full of character, warm, well balanced and precise, the small ring of wax ensures this is also very comfortable to play.

In original, untreated condition with natural ochres having developed an attractive patina through careful use. Kept in a humidity controlled environment.

Acquired from a didgeridoo player who had purchased it in 1995. This mago has been verified by the then arts advisor of Wugularr Arts and current manager of the White Cockatoo Performing Group, Geoff Toll, who remembers selling this instrument in 1994.

This museum quality mago is very, very similar to the Blanasi published in the art book by Kreczmanski titled "Aboriginal Artists Biographical Dictionary"

Certificate of authenticity included.
