Burrngupurrngu Wunungmurra

 Burrngupurrngu was born in 1950 and is regarded as one of the foremost yidaki makers of Northeast Arnhem Land and he is senior lawman for the Dhalwangu clan.

Burrngupurrngu is well respected amongst Yolngu communities for his knowledge of yidaki making and playing and as a young man he was sought after to play in ceremony.
